2026 BMW 3-Series and M3

Previewed by the Vision Neue Klasse concept, the next version of BMW's venerable 3-series sports sedan is expected to include both internal-combustion and battery-electric variants. The i3, as the electric version will be known, will ride on an entirely new EV platform with an 800-volt architecture. The i3 will also spawn an all-electric M3 that will pack a potent quad-motor powertrain. We expect the i3 to debut at some point in 2026 and the iM3 to follow in 2027
